I’m Jade Rivers, and my love of storytelling began when I was a little girl and my family moved to a small town in Florida, where folklore told around bonfires was an ancient, local tradition… one I quickly embraced.

 

When I was fourteen, I made my first honest attempt at writing a story of my own. It was a mystery filled with as much adventure as my adolescent mind could conjure. But, as I grew older, I discovered the wonderful world of romance novels. And suddenly, it hit me! These were the stories that spoke to me most, and were the ones I wanted to write more than anything.

 

Today, I write romance novels that have a dark vibe but a tender touch. And because… let’s be honest… is never truly easy, I throw in a plot twist (or two) to add depth and intrigue to my characters’ lives, not to mention, an unexpected turn of events my readers won’t see coming.

 

I’m fueled by a wild imagination; and more caffeine than I care to admit. When I am not writing, I’m finding inspiration in everyday life, sitting around a cozy campfire, or performing karaoke with friends and family (my go-top jam is Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie”).
